Tube Inspection
1.4404 material is a European steel grade equals to American material 316L. There are some differences about chemical compositions between the two steel grades. 1.4404 material is with 16.5% minimum Cr, but 316L is with 16% minimum Cr. Also 1.4404 is with more strict C, P and N content requirements. So when preparing raw material, we should pay more attention to make sure all chemical composition is compliance with 1.4404.
The production En10216-5 is also a little bit different with ASTM A 312. They are with different size tolerence, mechenical properties. Thanks to our rich experience to supply EN standard pipes, we could finish the products strictly in accordance the EN standards. The pipes passed inspection of TUV which issued EN 10204 3.2 certicate. The tubes are finished within 35days, which is a week delay then our schedule due to the busy season of the stainless steel industry, thanks for the good understanding from our customer, the delay was accepted.
